Listen, you can buy these stocking caps by the dozen and put them in the Christmas stockings this year. No? How about for the newborn in the family? Maybe the grandparents could use a little warmth and color on their heads. They make great office gifts and are a good conversation piece as well. It seems like everyone we know could use one of these wonderful knit caps when you really think about it.
They have all sizes and shapes, come in a variety of designs, and are worn by everyone from our precious newborns, to our family patriarchs. Who couldn't use at least two or three for their own personal use. These caps have a unique place in our families. They quite often have some treasured family story related to them. If crochet hats where removed from our lives what would we use to replace them? Baseball caps, I think not. Hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, sailing, jogging, you name it you can do it all with one of these lovely caps a top your head. When I think winter I see images of family and friends bundled up for the cold and what's on there heads? You guessed right, I see crochet hats.
